Field Day 2020

Picture

Field Day 2020 ~ June 27-28, 2020
This year did present some new challenges for Field Day, as we expected. However, that is partly what Ham Radio is all about. We have to adapt to changing situations whether it is propagation, weather, disaster relief, or just a broken antenna. We Ham's are adaptable people, and adapt we did.

What did you do? Post to the Facebook or Groups.io page

For Field Day 2020, some club members paired off with another Ham in their area and run as class D or class E stations, depending on the power source. Tell us what you learned!

FD2020 Wrap up

The Field day rules for this year were amended such that all Class D stations can contact any other stations, including class D, for points. We hope you kept a log that can be submitted.

In addition, and for 2020 only, an aggregate club score will be published in QST in December, which will be the sum of all individual entries indicating a specific club. It is important for all of us to specifically indicate WX4CAR as your club callsign.

73 and thanks being a part of FD2020.
