Field Day 2021 Gallery

The site was spectacular in function and beauty. Thanks goes to the Long Family for the use of their barn and land for Field Day 2021

Setup happened on late Friday and early Saturday morning. We have three end fed antennas and a 20/15 meter Hex Beam.

Rob (W1JKU) and Marty (KB4MG) gave the Field Day briefing and safety presentation. This gets everyone informed and aligned on what the Field Day activities and operating schedule will look like.

Hospitality is a VERY important thing for Field Day. We feasted on some great food prepared by our Hospitality Team

We had two learning activities: NanoVNA seminar hosted by Marty (KB4MG) and a a 2 meter J-Pole Antenna building workshop hosted by James (KE4HMS). Mac (AI4AK) graciously helped as well by showing the computer interface for the NanoVNA.

Operating is the main activity for Field Day. We operated as W1J on CW, Digital, and SSB , as well as a GOTA (get On the Air) station in the blue tent.
