ARRL FIELD DAY 2023

Field Day 2023 was a spectacular event. We had 6 stations as well as a GOTA station and operated as 6-Alpha. We had a very successful Soldering Workshop with 20 participants! The pictures below show much of the activities. Enjoy looking at them.

We have claimed a total of 4,129 points for the club. ( By comparison, in 2022 we had 3,182 points)

QSO Summary : 75 CW, 414 Digital, and 84 Phone contacts

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED!

The Advance Team on Friday set up the antenna systems and arranged the barn for the Saturday event. Here is pictures of some of the team from Friday. Missing in the picture is the hospitality team: James James, Eva Gillett, and Mark Schulze.
Setup went smoothly because of great planning.

We had very professional signage at the road and in the barn. Really nice job on the art work.

The antenna team erected two end-fed half wave antennas at two locations far from each other ,to reduce interference. Using RF multiplexor boxes we shared an antenna with three radios on one antenna. Almost magic.

The GOTA station was manned by Rob, W1JKU. We had a number of new, unlicensed, and youth try their hand at making contacts.
